Invite your guests!
Inviting your guests is your first and most important task! Listen to Jacie explain how to invite people in the video below, then take a look at the chart and set your party potential goal! Message your team leader & sponsor right away and let them know what it is!
Then, complete these two action items within the next 48 hours!
1. Make a list of 100 people (Remember F.R.A.N.K.)!
2. Invite those people to your launch party. Instructions on how to setup your party will be next - but don't move on until you have your first 12 people who say 'YES', that they want to come!
Inviting is a great opportunity to catch up with anyone you haven’t seen or talked with in awhile. It makes people feel good to know they are being thought of and noticed, so take the time to make each message personal and unique. Here’s an example of a message you could send. Use this as a guide, but type out your own version so it’s not exactly like this. Then, you can copy/paste yours to your friends whom you are messaging, or use it as a guide as you talk to people on the phone.
For Facebook messages, pace yourself and send 20 messages at a time, spread out over the course of a day or two. Facebook will block you from Messenger (and sometimes even all of Facebook) if you send too many messages within a short amount of time.
First, send a greeting with their name and anything you’ve enjoyed seeing in their recent Facebook posts. This establishes a personal and genuine tone so they can see you care about them and are taking the time to connect with them. Use their name, their kids’ names, ask a question… the more customized, the better, but keep it to just 2-3 sentences.
Hi, Cynthia! I loved seeing all your posts from the museum. It looks like little Henry and Albert had so much fun! We’ve been wanting to go there! Do you think it there’s enough to do for 2 year olds? I might take my daughter Cordelia!
Then, follow it with your version (just copy/paste) of a message like this:
Anyway, I have a quick question for you! Do you have any Usborne books? I just recently discovered them, and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long! They are so different from most other books out there. They are really engaging and interactive, and there are books for babies all the way up to teens! We love them so much that I’ve decided to host an online party for my friends. It’s all on Facebook, and we’ll play games, earn prizes, and you can shop (if you want) for books! Would you like an invitation? It’s all on Facebook!
If they reply and say “yes”, THEN add them to your launch party Facebook event and send them a message back saying:
Great!! Thank you! I just sent you an invitation to the Facebook event. Click the notification and be sure to RSVP ‘Going’ so you get the notifications! I’ll send you a reminder that day because it’s easy to forget and I know you are very busy. See you there!
